Bangladesh U-19 defeated Pakistan U-19 by 4 wickets in the third and final ODI match to clinch the three-match series 1-2.
Pervez Jabon of Bangladesh was adjudged the man of the match for his outstanding all-round performance while Arafat Minhas of Pakistan was adjudged the man of the series.
In the third and final match of the three-match ODI series played between Pakistan and Bangladesh U-19 teams at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Bangladesh chased down the target of 221 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 41 overs.
On behalf of the visiting team, opener Mohammad Ashiqur Rehman Shibli played a brilliant innings of 72 runs, captain Ahrar Amin was dismissed for 52 runs but Parvez Jabon played a winning innings of 57 runs without losing a wicket.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first.
At the start of the innings, Pakistani opener Muhammad Farooq returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs. Captain Saad Baig and Tayyab Arif scored 44 runs in the second wicket partnership.
Pakistan team scored 220 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 42 overs.
Rafi-ul-Zaman and Rohant Burson bowled brilliantly for Bangladesh. Both showed 3, 3 players the way to the pavilion.
Apart from them, Parvez Jabon dismissed 2 players while Iqbal Hussain dismissed one player.
