T20 Series: Pakistan Women defeated Ireland in the second match by 6 wicket leveling the series by 1-1
Pakistan Women defeated Ireland by 6 wickets in the second T20 match to level the series at one apiece.
The second T20 match in Lahore was delayed by an hour due to rain, an innings of the match was limited to 17 overs.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, Pakistan Women won the toss and decided to bowl first, Ireland Women scored 118 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted overs.
Irish player Amy Hunter played an innings of 36 runs and Orla Prendergast 20 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Nida Dar scored 19 runs while Nashera Sindhu took two wickets by giving 21 runs.
In reply, Pakistan Women achieved the required target in 16 overs.
On behalf of Pakistan Women, Jawaria Khan scored 35 runs and Nida Dar scored 28 runs while Ayesha Yusuf played an unbeaten innings of aggressive 25 runs.
Nida Dar was adjudged player of the match for her all-round performance.
It should be noted that the third and deciding match of the series will be played on November 16.
