After clearing various fitness tests, Shaheen Shah Afridi is ready to play international Cricket
Pakistan cricket team’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has said that I am fully ready to play now, I have completed all the fitness requirements for which I have played 55 overs.
Speaking on the occasion of training at the National High Performance Center Lahore, he said that now I have the same energy as before I got injured in Sri Lanka, I am running and bowling like before.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that I think I have completed all the requirements and now I am ready to play in every way, I will be in action in the Pakistan Super League.
The fast bowler said that it was difficult to stay out of the team for a long time due to injury, sometimes I thought that there is nothing more I can do to get out of the injury.
The captain of Lahore Qalandars said that I have set goals for myself and sacrifices have to be made for it.
Shaheen Afridi said that the team needed me in the T20 World Cup so I decided to play. Even in the World Cup, if I had run the way I am running now, the result would have been different.
He said that this is what happens to me that I will be ready whenever my team needs me.
The fast bowler said he missed the home series against England and New Zealand a lot, wanting to play in front of the home crowd at home grounds.
Shaheen Shah Afridi said that the Pakistan team tried well in the home series but the result is not in our hands.
It should be noted that fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is training in connection with his rehabilitation at the National High Performance Center Lahore, he was suffering from a knee injury.
