After 29 years, Pakistan got to host the ICC event, Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in 2025. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the host countries for the upcoming World Events.

According to the ICC, the 2024 T20 World Cup will be held in the United States and the West Indies, while Pakistan will host the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. India and Sri Lanka will host the 2026 T20 World Cup, while South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will host the 2027 Cricket World Cup.

Similarly, the 2028 T20 World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand while India will host the 2029 Champions Trophy. England, Ireland and Scotland will co-host the 2030 T20 World Cup, while India and Bangladesh will co-host the 2031 Cricket World Cup.

It should be noted that Pakistan last hosted the ICC Event World Cup in 1996. It is to be noted that the 2008 Champions Trophy was to be held in Pakistan but due to the circumstances it was shifted to South Africa. According to the new schedule, India will host three ICC events between 2024 and 2031.
