FIFA reinstated Pakistan’s international membership
FIFA has restored Pakistan’s international membership. According to sources, FIFA has announced the lifting of sanctions imposed on Pakistan football, after which the doors of international football have been opened for Pakistani teams.
Apart from this, due to the restoration of membership, the series of football activities will also be restored at the national level.
Haroon Malik, chairman of Pakistan Football Federation’s Normalization Committee (NC), says, “Congratulations to the football community, our tireless efforts and the prayers of the football family have paid off.” The year has been extended.
He said that restoration of football, holding of elections of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and return of assets will be our first priority.
It should be noted that FIFA suspended Pakistan’s membership after Ashfaq Hussain’s group seized the offices of the Pakistan Football Federation last year.
